Book an Open Sewing Class
Adult Sewing classes are ‘open’ meaning that there is no prescribed curriculum followed. All attendees may work on whatever project they wish. Classes are of mixed ages and abilities, and the teacher will accommodate all needs. Please be aware that at busy times, you may not get as much teacher time as your would in other sessions, if you would like to find out when we are quietest, please get in touch. Adult classes are subject to our standard cancellation policy which can be found in the Info tab above.
Book an Intro to Sewing Class
Our Intro to Sewing Classes are designed for the absolute beginner, or those who have not sat at a machine for a while and want to brush up their skills. In this 2 hour class, you will learn how to thread up a machine, how to sew straight lines, corners and curves as well as simple seams. You will then move on to making a simple zippered ouch, using a skill many sewists fear, ZIPS! All tools and materials are included, though feel free to bring your own.
